Cheryl Lee Mallard-Facey White was born on February 22, 1959, and passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2018. A lifelong resident of Boston, Cheryl grew up in the former Bromley-Heath housing development, where she developed life-long friendships. She graduated from English High School, and shortly thereafter, met the love of her life, her husband Gilbert, ultimately welcoming their daughter Tremana Diamond White in 1989, and their son Armani Miles White in 1991 after many years together.
Cheryl had many careers throughout her life. In between working full-time as an administrative assistant from a medical products company with her sister and later in fine jewelry sales, Cheryl would continue her education and go on to obtain her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Fisher Junior College and her Bachelor’s Degree at Boston University. In addition, through hard work and determination, Cheryl would achieve her dream of home ownership with her husband. She would continue on to become a licensed real estate agent.
Cheryl loved and cared for her family and friends deeply. She was the epitome of “super mom” consistently putting her full energy into making sure her children had a great education, lots of extra curricular activities and were connected with all sides of the family. She would lead regular day long outings to local parks, beaches, and museums with a Volvo packed with her children, their friends, and cousins. She was also “Nana Cheryl” to her step-son Gilbert III & her daughter-in-law Andrea’s children who she showered with gifts and love. Cheryl excelled as a mother, grandmother, wife and businesswoman. Her love and talents will be missed dearly.
Cheryl was the beloved daughter of the late William Henry Facey and Gladys Elizabeth (Chute) Facey along with her late siblings William Henry Facey, Jr, James Gordon Facey, and Sandra Ann (Facey) Thorne of Boston.
She leaves to mourn husband Gilbert Eugene White, Jr., children Tremana Diamond White, Armani Miles White, step-son Gilbert White, III and his wife Andrea White. Grandchildren Treon Thomas-Cooper, Saria White, and Miriam White. God children Jerrell Thorpe-Johnson and Jared Thorpe Johnson. In-Laws, Claire Facey, Billie White, Stephanie White, Ronald White, James White, Phillip White, and Denzel Townsend. Cousins Lenwood “Wood” Thorpe, Darlene Thorpe, Nieces and nephews Janene Palumbo, Stefvon Facey, Kim Witherspoon, Dawne Thorne, Sudaara White, Brian White, Zoie White, Pilan White. Please accept my sincere condolences. Death is never an easy thing to deal with. I have to reflect on Jesus response when he learned that Lazarus his friend had died. At John 11:33,35
We read that Jesus was troubled and that he wept. Some say we must be strong, but can you think of anyone stronger than Jesus? Just think, Jesus has the power to resurrect and he wept over this death. In the very near future Jesus will excercise this same power to resurrect our dear loved ones. John 5:28,29.
May you find comfort in the hope of the resurrection.

My condolences to the Facey family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Death of a loved one is one of the hardest things we face in life.
So many mixed emotions that at time we don’t know where to turn. Turn to your Heavenly Father in pray. He will comfort and guide you. He is there for you. Psalm 34:18, He is close to the brokenhearted. He saves all thoses who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:15, “He listen to our cry for help.” He also hold out a hope for all our loved ones lose in death. John 5:28-29, “the hour is coming when all thoses in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.” Cheryl will have the opportunity to live again under much better conditions.
