Monica G. Charles was born in Trinidad & Tobago where she grew up with numerous siblings. She later immigrated to the United States with her family in the 70’s. Although she only had four children, she became a mother to many others. She touched so many lives with the genuine love she had for people. For most of her life she worked as a Day Care Provider because of her love for children. She remained in contact with many of those children and their families to this day.

She enjoyed entertaining people with laughter and cooking; especially known for her peas & rice and curry chicken! Later in her life when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, her love for people only grew more. She was determined to live a life of love, forgiveness, and kindness. All throughout her life she always remined us that her funeral is not be filled with flowers (as you can see). She wanted the flowers while she was alive to enjoy them; and that she did.
Monica is survived by her husband, four children, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, as well as her grand-children Andrea, Jamaal, Kenneth, Jr., Janá, Kayin, Imani, Dennis, Shaiquan, Ashly, Ayanna, and Elroy, Jr., and her great-grand-children Kasimir and Delyla. She also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends including her loving cousin Daphne Isaac and dearest friend Jeannie Cheek.
