Vonzerella “Von” Huggins was born in Boston Massachusetts to the late Lizzie Mae Daniels and Ralph
Cooper. Von attended The Jeremiah E. Burke High School and went on to pursue higher education at Boston State College.Von was employed as a Human Service Professional for her dad at his company Veterans Benefits Clearinghouse for many years. Von was a member of the Charles Street AME Church.

Von loved to laugh and told the best jokes. She had a beautiful smile and could make you laugh just by
telling a story. Von loved music and she loved to dance. Von was full of life and always ready to have a good time and make others laugh and feel good. Von was known for being “The Life of The Party”! Von was one of the most real human beings on the face of the earth. She always told you the truth about any situation including yourself no matter what, and she was not exempt. Von was real and painfully honest with herself and her family about everything even her battle with cancer as well. She didn’t believe in sugar coating anything and that’s how she wanted to be handled when it came to her illness. Von would feed and open her door to ANYONE. Her kindness, love and loyalty was on a different level. Once Von loved you, she loved you and she would never turn her back on you, unless you turned your back on her or her kids. Von loved Fashion. She enjoyed dressing up and looking “Sharp.” She always had a fly hat or a piece of clothing that made her stand out. And she always had her own style about her, she made every outfit unique in her own way and her daughters took right after her. Some of Vons most precious memories were spending time with her grandkids and the times her daughters took her on many family vacations. Von was the best grandmother a child could ask for. Her grandkids did no wrong in her eyes and she had a full hand in raising all of them. Von enjoyed cooking and having family gatherings. Her banana pudding from scratch was a must have at every function. The words “will be missed” could never equate how her children, grandchildren, family members and friends feel.

Preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Mae Daniels, and her oldest daughters father Vernanda C. Smith;
her sister in law and best friend Vonnetta Smith, and very close nephew Clarence A. Mcgregor. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her father, Ralph Cooper, wife (Deneice); Sister Laura Huggins ( James)of Boston; Sister Jocelyn Cooper of Baltimore; Brother Frederick Daniels (Melissa) of Boston; Four children, Renarda S. Smith Huggins, (Douglas) Crystal Wilson (Ramone), James Nodd and Theotis Nodd (Shanta); Five Grandchildren, Keyshawn J. Huggins (Jadia); Deontae E. Gooden, Nahum Huggins, Crystal Wilson, and Sierra Nodd; Four nephews, Damien J. Huggins of Boston, Dereck, Jerome, Frederick Jr. and one Neice Danielle McLean of Boston. One Aunt, Alice Williams and a host of close cousins and extended nieces and nephews of Boston, two god daughters Serveria Galloway (Doodie) and Tasha Billingslea, two loving friends, Best Friend Glendora Billingslea and dear Friend Alicia Texiera.
