Beloved Brenda S. Daye died unexpectedly on July 28, 2020 at the age of 66 years old. Brenda was born on December 29,1953 in Louisburg, North Carolina. Brenda was the daughter of the late Garland Ree Daye and Mary Lizzie Fogg Daye of North Carolina.

At the age of 9 yrs old Brenda’s family relocated to Boston Mass. Brenda was very excited to move “Up North” as she would say. She loved her southern roots and would always showcase her cooking/baking skills during holidays
Brenda was a hard worker and an excellent mother. Brenda earned her high school diploma thru the Waitte House School and went on to work for high profile companies IPL, Polaroid and finally retiring from Gillette
Brenda was a very classy, strong women and was the glue of our family. She enjoyed shopping, music, fashion and decorating. Brenda was always stylish and ahead of her time. She cared for her family and friends.
She loved helping people and you could always count on her. A praying women, who accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She always would say “ If I die today or tomorrow, I had a good life “. The life and memory of Brenda will long be remembered by her family. She was the middle child of five sisters, Carolyn L. Daye (preceded her in death), Mary D. Daye- Gillard, Teresa Daye, Jaqueline L. Daye. Her second mother Evelyn Jones, who helped raise her. Sisters, Michelle Jones (preceded her in death), Yvonne Anderson (preceded her in death), Renee Jones, Shirley Brown, Loretta Johnson, Portia Simmons. She leaves three children Nicole Daye, Jamar Daye and Monique Hollis. Four grandchildren, Jamar D. Daye, Nasir B. Clarke, Brendan K. Rodriquez, Maya J. Daye. Niece’s: Rochelle B. Gillard, Jasmine N. Daye, Yvette Jones, Takita Jones, Tracee Cummings, Visolela James, Elisha Foster. Nephew’s: Charles Daye, Levell Gillard, Terrence Jones, Tajuan Jones, Tyrone Jones, Demesvar Jones, Andre Jones, Joseph Johnson. Rayshawn Johnson, Dominque Ellis. Best Friend: Angela Thomas, Close companions, Frederick Howard (preceded her in death), Kevin Perry and the love of her life Rickey Lanier (preceded her in death).
She will be greatly missed by a host of other family and friends. Brenda is joining her many other loved ones on the other side. Who have been called onto the Lord.
